ONLINE BABY HAUL OF THE WEEK

Hello fashion dolls,
Today was a great day even in this heat I seem to make the best of my time out with my fiance and daughter. We went shopping for a few things for my away bag for the hospital when we bring Tony II home and I want to share what I got so far, bcuz I'm not done gettimh stuff that I need yet.

MY HOSPITAL AWAY BAG FINDS PART #1

So I've been spending alot of time shopping with my Mom at Kmart lately and finding some cute stuff for pretty good prices for Nevaeh, Tony II and myself. So today that's where I asked my fiance to take me today and found what I have been hoping to find, something from Nicki Minaj's clothing line.

*I bought some sweat pants with camo sides and going to go back for the matching sweater and a cute top to match, for when we bring Tony II home. The material is so soft and silky, I can hardly wait to put them on and didnt wanna try them on this soon in fear of stretching them out with my growing prego physique LOL. I'm going to stock up my closet with Nicki Minaj collectiom items post baby and share them all with you ladies.

*I just discovered a new bra I think all expecting Mom's and breastfeeding Mom's should get, Hanes comfort fit flex. This is a wireless bra that looks a little like a sports bra but has the coverage, fit and padding of a push up bra with comfortable soft flexable material that makes it fit like a glove. I'm going to throw out all my push up wired bras and replace them with these, I only need these comfortable bras in my life now LOL.

Why do I think Hanes comfort fit flex is a must for expecting/breastfeeding Mom's?: It's wireless which means you can just flop it right over your breast to nurse your baby and since there is no wires there is no discomfort wearing it all day with your growing breast size, Comes in a variety of colors/styles and sizes small to 3x.

TONY II AMAZON AND KMART HAUL

As I've mentioned before I love shopping on Amazon for every thing my little family needs and today was the day we received some of the stuff we ordered for Tony II and I was so happy to find the boxes waiting at home for us after our long afternoon of running errands.

*Layette set (onesie, beanie, 2 pairs of booties)

When I saw this layette set I didnt hesitate to add it to my cart because the graphic onesie says "Just like dad"  plus has a graphic of a tie with suspenders on it and the beanie says "Just like dad" as well and the bootie socks have designs of dress shoes on them cute right?.

*Monkey stuffed animal with plush blanket

I have always thought monkeys were cute and I really seem to like brown for baby boys as well, because I bought some of the same stuff for my son Drayton when he was a baby LOL, so Tony and I both agreed to get him the monkey toy.

*Boppy pillow

BREASTFEEDING MUST HAVE ITEM FOR ME BECAUSE
I have decided since finding out about this pregnancy that I am ONLY going to breastfeed Tony II for 6 months and NO formula, because it's healthier, better for development and prevents a lot of illnesses,. Which was my goal for my first to pregnancies as well, but I will share that as well.

MY FIRST 2 BREASTFEEDING PREGNANCIES EXPERIENCES

Drayton 5 yrs old: He was born 7lbs 1oz and I wanted to breastfeed and while I did during our stay at the hospital, he contracted jondice which for those of you who aren't aware of it is when the skin or whites of the eyes turn yellowish. The doctor said it was due to my breast milk being very golden so, I was told to not put him on the breast for a few weeks but to pump it then bottle feed him and it worked. Then I decided a month
latr that it was time for a new tattoo and began giving him formula LOL it seemed like a good idea at the time because I was convinced it was by his Dad bit soon regretin my choice.

Nevaeh 2 yrs old: She was born 7lbs 2oz and I wanted to breastfeed and it went well during our stay at the hospital, so I never gave her any formula. Then when it was time to go home and do it on my own with no help from any nurses thats when the difficulty started for me, because unknown to us I wasn't doing it right. Her latch was painful and hurt so bad I begged Tony to get formula for her, but still kept trying to breastfeed, it got so painful she cut the round part of the nipple that gives the milk and so finally we put her on formula.

WHAT I WILL DO DIFFERENTLY THIS TIME BREASTFEEDING

I know this might seem a little weird or strange to some, because I already have two kids but I wanted to see the proper way to breastfeed so I researched on that online and now I know where/how I messed up breastfeeding Nevaeh. In my opinion new expecting Mom or Mom with babies, as a mother's we dont stop learning new things about raising our kids or how to breastfeed properly because parenting is a learning process throughout we cant possibly know everything about being parents.
We wouldn't need parenting classes, child development or books telling us what to expect when expecting a new baby, so I'm not ashamed to admitt I needed those how to properly breastfeed tips and even took some notes. Because I want to accomplish my goal of ONLY breastfeeding for 6 months and those notes were helpful just reading them.
But just in case I encounter any issues I will have a can of formula on stand by because I always like to be prepared for whatever could happen unexpectedly especially after two times attempting didnt work out as I planned them to go, but I am confident that this will work for Tony II.
