RED CARPET: OSCARS 2019

Image
Hello Fashion Dolls, Last night the 91st Oscar awards aired on ABC 7 and usually I would only watch for the red carpet fashion, but this time I watched enough of the award show to see one performance and a few awards be won by Black Panther. I always enjoy watching  these awards shows mainly for the fashion but also the acceptance speeches because it's both tradition and inspirational to hear the sincerity and genuine humbleness of the award winners when they talk.  I was letting the kids watch TV for awhile and when they both decided they didn't want to watch cartoons anymore, I switched the channel right when they announced Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper performing Shallow live for the first time since the release of their award winning film A Star Is Born. When they announced winner of the best production design, I got all teary eyed during Hannah Beachler's acceptance speech and it was touching to see her get emotional while she read from her iPhone. It was amazing to

GIRLS NIGHT OUT: TIFFANY HADDISH EDITION

Image
Hello Fashionistas, It's been awhile since I've had a girls night out and was excited to be going to the Microsoft Theatre for my very first time. Last night was so much fun ! I had tickets to the Tiffany Haddish She Ready tour with my cousin Tayllor, but it was a phone free event. So at the entrance they give you a little pouch to put your phone in, then they lock the pouch with the pin it comes with and give back to you but they have designated phone areas where you can go get it taken off to use your phone and when your ready to go back to your seat they put it back on before you go back into the lobby area. MY GIRLS NIGHT When we walked up to the theature entrance area we seen like 6+ different lines and these lines were long LOL but we got into the line we needed to be in with tickets we had to print out before getting there. Since we couldn't use our phones inside the event I took pictures before I left so I wouldn't forget to show you what I wore, because m

FAMILY DATE NIGHT: PIRATE ADVENTURE

Image
Hello Fashionistas, My days off from work is a little mixed off, so my Husband and I decided to have a early Valentines day date as a family and we wanted to surprise the kids with something new. Went took them to the Pirate dinner adventure show in Buena Park, it was so much fun and I really enjoyed the stage that was actually an authentically replicated 18th century Spanish Galleon 46 feet long and 18 feet wide ship anchored in a 300,000 gallon lagoon. The decor inside the venue is amazing it looks just as if you walked into the 18th century, the crew members are dressed in pirate costumes, there is a open bar and a big souvenir shop. Everything about it was cool LOL I felt like a kid again there. The actors are very dedicated to their roles and their passion for acting is definitely protrayed during the show, there were a lot of skits that make you laugh and the songs are catchy. There is so much action with sound effects and I love that there is so much audience interaction they

BRAID CARE PRODUCTS

Image
Hello Fashion Dolls, I recently had my hair re-braided and a this time I wanted to do try a new color other then blonde and my own hair color brown so I decided to get red instead but wasnt sure what shade although I knew there was no way I would get any bright shades of red so I opted for a neutral shade kinda in the middle of bright and dark LOL. I'm so happy that I picked this color and this will be permanently my new hair color for braids, wigs and weaves it makes me look pretty and goes good with my light skin complexion, so I am going to do my best to stick to this color, but I REFUSE TO DIE my natural hair I'm scared that the hair dye will make me go bald because I'm mixed 💯 #DontLaughAtMePlz. I love this color so much that I want my braids to last longer so I went on a mission to find products that can help me do that, because I at least want to keep my braids in for a few months before taking them out. At first I was a little weary to think these products woul

GRAMMYS RED CARPET 2019

Hello Fashionistas, Last night Downtown LA was transformed for one of the hugest events in the music world, because the Staples Center hosted the Grammy Awards and I was happy to get a chance to watch some of it live with my Mom. For sevetal years I stopped watching the award ceremony part of these types of events, but randomnly I will decide to watch it only if I remember it's coming on LOL there is always cartoons or video games on our TV at home so I usually just watch Netflix or blog which is what makes me forget the show is even coming on. This year Alicia Keys was hosting and when she said "Can I bring out some of my sisters?" I didn't know who to expect would walk out on stage and as the four womanly figures came into view and I saw Michelle Obama standing there I was beyond EXCITED to see her, Over all I enjoyed watching it although after awhile the kids wanted to watch cartoons so we changed it for them LOL. After I share my best and worst dressed on red
