NFL GAME DAY: WEEK 1 REPORT
Hello fashionistas,
NFL football is back ! And as usual I’m super excited to watch every game and give a report on all of them. This has been a great season opener with lots of blow out scores, fights and powerful plays by all 32 NFL teams and I’m eager to see what the following weeks games are going to be like. Unfortunately my Broncos didn’t beat the Raiders despite all the Antonio Brown chaos and drama which of course pissed me off LOL, but it was a great game even though the outcome didn’t go in our favor.

Antonio Brown and GM Mike Mayock got into it Wednesday, and the team planned to suspend its star wide receiver. It's obvious that Mayock fined Brown roughly $54,000 for missing team workouts and practices in August. Antonio posted the disciplinary letter from the Raiders on Instagram and said the team was "hating" on him. Understandably, Mike Mayock and the Raiders didn't like the public attack which ultimately led to the confrontation between them. Mayock had expressed disappointment with Brown for missing practices while dealing with his helmet issue after the league told AB he couldn't use his old helmet, because it didn't pass the NFL's safety protocol. Antonio Brown had also missed time dealing with his feet problems after he suffered extreme frostbite from a cryogenic chamber mishap. Just hours after Antonio Brown called on the Oakland Raiders to “release” him over reports that his guaranteed payout was voided by a massive $215,000 fine, the organization decided that they were going to suspend him from appearing in the team’s first game of the season against the Denver Broncos had seemingly been in question until Friday when head coach Jon Gruden confirmed that he would be on the field. Allegedly after Atonio apologized for his actions that many critics believe was done just so he could play in the upcoming game. Hours later, Brown Whose last season at the Steelers franchise was filled with internal drama before he was traded to the Raiders, posted a link to a YouTube video where he appeared to have recorded a conversation between himself and Gruden. This is a quote from the video “What the hell is going on, man?” the voice appearing to be Gruden’s said. “Let me ask you this, do you want to be a Raider or not?” Brown said he’s always wanted to play for the team “since day one," before redirecting the same question back to Gruden. “Man, I’ve been trying to be a Raider since day one … I don't know why it's a question of me being a Raider. It’s like, do you guys want me to be Raider?” he said. Gruden replied,
“Please stop this shit and just play football. How hard is that? You’re a great football player, just play football.” It’s unclear when the call took place, but the video was posted to Brown’s Instagram Friday night. Days before the Raiders season opener game Antonio was released from the team and signed a contract to join the Patriots for a one year $9 million dollar contract with a $15 million dollar bonus, but as reported by ESPN Brown won't be able to play until week two’s game against the Dolphins. I know Antonio Brown’s one of the best wide receivers in the NFL but he needs to get his head out of his ass ! Being apart of the NFL league is a tremendous honor and no one player makes the entire team so if he doesn’t start cooperating with what he has signed a contract do which is play good football he can expect to be dropped from the NFL entirely because no team will want someone playing for them that believes they can do whatever they want and that would be a horrible talent waste.
