2020 GUIDE TO DRESSING PREPPY

Hello Fashion dolls,

I really enjoy fashion forecasting and putting my own twists on current trends, so today I'm going to be talking about dressing preppy and share with you all the staples you should have to slay this style. I'm an 80's baby and grew up seeing the movie Clueless starring Alicia Silverstone and Stacey Dash, which is what comes to mind when I think about what to wear because that's the way those characters would dress. This was one of my favorite movies as a young girl, what girl hates Clueless anyways ? None we all loved it and memorized our favorite parts of the movie to act out when we were alone.

PREPPY STYLE STAPLES

* Oversized blazer
* Plaid matching blazer with skirt
* Knee high penny boots
* Circle cross body purse

HOW TO STYLE A PREPPY OUTFIT

Wear a dress with penny boats and pea coat

Add a sweater to a midi skirt style (pull over sweater)

Wear a turtle neck top with a mini skirt

Pair a oxford button up with high rise wide leg jeans

Add a oversized blazer to your monroe plaid matching suit


As I've said before this style reminds me of the Clueless movie and I definitely would enjoy dressing like the characters from the movie. Find myself a cute monroe plaid suit and knee high stocking socks to wear with my fuzzy heels or clear pumps; it's going to be fun mixing pieces for this style. I will try to find iconic styles from movies made when I was growing up to pit my own fashion twist on and be sure to share them here with all of my fashion dolls.

Dresses, Dresses & More Dress: Profile #1

I was searching online for dresses earlier today, because I've got a thing for cute dresses and need to add a few to my collection lmao. I rarely wear dresses, but if any ocassion pops up I want to have a handful to choose from and not have to worry about being seen in the same one more then twice. I'm unaware of the designers for any of these dresses, because I was searching google images when I found these without articles on them. LOLA MONROE GOT ALL DOLLED UP This is a very cute dress with a sexy twist, because the low cut front screams look at these lol. Lola looks fab as ever in this cute blue pencil form fitting dress. and pairing it with tan pumps was great in my opinion. VALENTINES DAY OOTD

 Hello Fashion dolls, I'm not really a huge fan of Valentine's day as a "Holiday" it could be because before I reunited with my Husband the guys I dated before him didn't buy me gifts or flowers and rarely even spent the day with me. It's so cliché to only dedicate one day to spreading love to your loved ones and friends, because we should be expressing our love routinely. My Husband and I don't usually give gifts for Valentine's day so this year we decided to just have a small family BBQ, drink and watch movies with out family all day long.
