Image
Hello Fashionistas, I know it's been awhile since I've last posted but I promise this long wait will definitely be worth it, I'm so overly excited to share this with you but I'm always for things being set in stone before publicizing things. Now I will say that I will be launching a promotional campaign within the next week or so, but that’s all the information I’m willing to share without giving it away. MY OOTD    Crop top and jeans: Sugar Rackz Louis Vuitton sweater: Street vendor  Heels: Swapmeet 3 layered necklace: Ross   Handbag: Kate Spade  April 8th was my Husband’s birthdasy and since I had to work that day we decided to go out on a date night last night and we got my parents to baby sit the kids so we could finally get to spend time alone since it’s rare we get to do that. We drove to Anaheim to eat some Sonic’s and sat in the car to eat our food and went to best buy for some electronic accessories. We also drove around for awhile just to take in...

EDGE NATURALE PART#3: MY HAIR VITAMIN JOURNEY

Image
Hello Fashionistas!, I know it's been awhile since I've blogged, but as always I'm happy to be back and within the next few days I will be sharing more details on what I've been up to and why I've been so absent blogging. As you may know I've been using Edge Naturale products for awhile now and just recently they have included a new item to their already amazing line of hair care products that I've talked about before. So today I will be sharing my review about that new hair care product that I just mentioned, so ladies lets get into this. EDGE NATURALE HAIR VITAMIN REVIEW  I've been dealing with dry scalp and a lot of dead ends these past few months with not being able to go get my hair done with the previous pandemic restrictions. What I love the most about these vitamins is that they are plant based with 28 vitamins, minerals and herbs. It has made my hair thicker, fuller and stronger and for my current issues with my hair that was something that alm...

BLACK HISTORY MONTH SPOTLIGHT DAY 7

Image
Hello Fashionistas, I don't like that work got in my way of me finishing my daily black history month spotlight series posts so I have extended it until March 5th to give me time to catch up with everything that I had planned out. As I was researching black owned businesses in my area I came up with yet another idea to highlight some black owned brands by women I've had the pleasure of meeting some in person and others virtually, but they are equally as impactful and empowering. So with that said, let's get into today's empowering black owned business owners who I believe deserve to be spotlighted and I was given the opportunity to ask them their insight on being an entrepreneur and business woman.  BLACK OWNED BUSINESSES IN THE SPOTLIGHT LESLIE MONIQ   shoplesliemoniq.com  Be sure to follow Leslie on IG @lesliemoniq and her business @shoplesliemoniq Founded by Leslie Henry this is a luxurious lip cosmetic line and in my interview with her I got to know more about h...

VALENTINES DAY OOTD

Image
Hello Fashion dolls, I'm not really a huge fan of Valentine's day as a "Holiday" it could be because before I reunited with my Husband the guys I dated before him didn't buy me gifts or flowers and rarely even spent the day with me. It's so cliché to only dedicate one day to spreading love to your loved ones and friends, because we should be expressing our love routinely. My Husband and I don't usually give gifts for Valentine's day so this year we decided to just have a small family BBQ, drink and watch movies with out family all day long. OOTD DETAILS     Two piece set: Sugar Rackz/ One piece: Boomy apparel /Sneakers: Vans in brown suede  I bought this outfit for my Valentine's date last year with my Husband and then Covid-19 ruined that date night and I never got to wear it, so I waited to pull it out when ever the pandemic ended. Although things haven't necessarily gone back to normal in the world yet, but I was excited to get the chance t...

BLACK HISTORY MONTH SPOTLIGHT DAY 6

Image
Hello Fashionistas, Today I wanted to do something different and give the spotlight to black owned businesses that I believe you should try out and keep a eye out for, because these CEO's are on the rise and need our support. Balancing life and work has turned out to be very challenging lately and has put me behind on posting once again, but I will continue to do my best not to miss another day of this Black History Month series.  I'm doing research on local black owned businesses and will do more posts like this to shed more light on those who are more then worthy of spreading the word about. It's important to me to support those who look like me and teach my kids to never forget to support those who represent what your culture is. BLACK OWNED BUSINESSES IN THE SPOTLIGHT CROWN & HOPS BREWERY   Founded by Teo Hunter and his wife Beny Ashburn their beer company is in Inglewood CA and it is taking the brewing industry by storm, because they have began a movement along ...

BLACK HISTORY MONTH SPOTLIGHT DAY 5

Image
Hello Fashionistas,  I've been so sleepy after work these past few days I needed to focus on sleeping, but today I'm back to my Black History Month series and as always I have an empowering woman to talk about that has inspired me for a good portion of my childhood athlete. I've always talked about how active I want to be, but rarely share how active I always use to be and like I did in my post about Kobe Bryant today's spotlight is sports related. #TrueAthletes #WomenInSports #StrengthInConfidence                                                      EMPOWERMENT SPOTLIGHT   Serena Williams    As an African American athlete in tennis she has faced racial and gender barriers throughout her career, but she didn't let that out shine her athletic abilities or crush her spiri...

LOUIS V DRIP PART 2

Image
Hello Fashionistas, I haven't posted  an OOTD in awhile and finally got the chance to take photos of the outfit I was suppose to wear for my birthday last month. I love playing with colors and prints in a way that's not overwhelming the entire outfit, not that there's anything wrong with that if that's your thing but it doesn't work for my style. MY OOTD      I'm not sure what was going on with my facial expressions during this shoot, but I felt good in front of the camera it's just at time's I have a challenging time control my face when taking photos. It's definitely a work in progress.  This was so comfy and I'm wearing a size large and it still fit so good on me, that jean jacket wasn't bought with the Louis V suit I've had it for three years now.  I couldn't find a white t shirt to buy with the suit so I just threw on this teal one, because it looked cute to me and I'm glad that I did.  I love pastel tones and mixing colors ...
